The Role

We're seeking a Public Relations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in research, writing, and storytelling, focusing on technical topics and industrial settings. This position will report directly to the Public Relations Director, who will provide mentorship opportunities and guidance. Additionally, the Public Relations Manager will act as the lead PR representative for a segment of our client accounts, taking ownership of client touchpoints, strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR strategies
  • Write press releases
  • Pitch stories to media outlets
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists
  • Manage editorial calendars and media databases
  • Conduct media spokesperson training
  • Provide crisis media consultation
  • Create content for blogs, emails, and social media

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in public relations,  journalism or content creation
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Proficiency in content management systems
  • Familiarity with inbound marketing, demand generation, lead nurturing & social media campaigns
