Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to see how the “older generation” views Facebook, how there’s so much information and networking on the site. As the conversation went on, I was thinking about the major changes Facebook has made since it first launched in 2004.
In the NFL and the business world, relationships will come to an end. In the case of Al Harris, his relationship ended when the Green Bay Packers released him a few weeks ago due to a knee injury. It's what Al Harris did next that is a lesson any business should take notice of. Harris took out a full page ad in the Sports section of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and said "Thank You" to all of his supporters and fans with a heart felt note in the ad.
When putting together a social media strategy, focus on the small things to help drive big success. Companies often struggle with the notion of where to begin - especially those companies that sell a large number of products or services.
